Tough Pickle is a Year Old This August!
Summertime Lessons 2006: Tough Pickle Studio began its first private lessons. From jewelry to antique repair, four students got their starts with metals right here in the Pickle Palace.

My host, Vanessa, runs a jam-packed little shop: the perfect, homey space to kick things off! "Don't Sell The Farm" attracted a variety of folks to Vanessa's place, including some model train enthusiasts. Thanks to Toby for the archival photos.

This fall, I'm honored to donate more than $400 in goods to Bent Writing Institute for their annual mentor showcase auction. This year's showcase features Bent students, Tara Hardy, and Dorothy Allison!
